What is your job title and can you explain your day to day role?
My job title is Client Services Officer and my day to day role varies! You’ll find me at Reception, I’m the first point of contact for all incoming calls and I’m always greeting our clients coming into the Office and the Displays. I also manage the travel and accommodation bookings for our site workers from WA to NT and with MRN Construction’s new manufacturing facility in SA, I’m getting up to speed with that state too!
I handle all the ad hoc admin side of things to keep the office running. One of my most important roles is to liaise with Shires and handle all the Planning and Building approvals for all of our clients’ homes.
How long have you been at TR?
I started in April 2016, so just over two years.
What’s the favourite part of your role?
Interacting with and getting to know our clients and seeing them happy when they come back from the yard after being taken through their home in the Construction Yard.
Do you have any tips for clients?
With my experience managing planning approvals, my tip for clients would be definitely get in touch with your local Shire prior to getting your heart set on a particular TR design and/or colour scheme. All Shires are different and there are a few with design restrictions such as materials used and external colours, which can be a bit of a letdown once you have a picture in your head of how your home will look.
