We’re thrilled to announce TR Homes has been awarded a $7 million contract to build homes for the first stage of a major seniors’ lifestyle village in Australind, north of Bunbury.
The Edenlife Lifestyle Community is on 8.3 hectares of land and on completion will comprise 186 homes as well as facilities including a heated indoor swimming pool, gymnasium, movie theatre, arts and crafts centre, library and bowling green.
Our General Manager, Roger Piggott said the contract represented a major boost for the award-winning modular builder. TR Homes is proudly leading the way in proving to the WA market that choosing a modular housing solution goes hand-in-hand with cutting edge design and high-quality finishes.
Partnering with the Lester Group, which has a long track record in the delivery of high quality developments across Western Australia, the homes for this development include one, two and three-bedroom designs, specifically designed with seniors in mind with the ability to lock up and leave.
With the Shire of Harvey last month giving formal approval for the development to proceed, this development will now provide buyers in the over 50’s age bracket a new and exciting lifestyle alternative at an affordable price.
Flexibility and value of the modular housing model is perfectly illustrated in developments of this nature. We see increased recognition that clients can enjoy all the benefits of modular housing construction without having to compromise on quality.
One of our key product advantages compared to other modular builders is that, while still transportable, all our homes feature concrete flooring. In fact, many visitors to our display village often question whether they are actually standing in a modular home, with modern design and product features meaning it is extremely difficult to spot the difference with the site-built homes that have traditionally dominated the WA market.
The features of the Edenlife housing range will include designer kitchens and bathrooms, private alfresco dining areas and energy efficient design and structure to keep the warmth in and the cold out.
CEO of Edenlife, Bill Marshall said that “we are particularly impressed with the outstanding quality of the award-winning homes and the partnership approach by TR Homes in delivering the required outcomes for this project.”
Mr Piggott said the steel framed TR Homes for the Edenlife homes will be manufactured at the company’s Pinjarra factory with the homes constructed prior to delivery in its Maddington yard.
