"Evolutionary" was a word used by the judges to describe the winner of the transportablehome category. A happy coincidence, give the name TR Homes gave its award-winning home was the Evolution.
One of the "new generation" of modular homes, the Evolution is contemporary, stylish and beautifully finished.
"This is the transportable home that does not look like a transportable home" the judges said.
Externally, the Evolution has a trendy reto look, with its flat roof, striking charcoal-painted cladding and steel louvres and entry pergola.
The main suite is contained in the front module. The second bedroom is a double, and is convenient to the equally modern second bathroom. A European laundry is tucked away behind bifold doors.
Cavity sliding doors off the entrance open to an air-conditioned lounge or theatre. The L-shaped open plan area includes a well-equipped kitchen with Caesarstone benchtops. Seperate dining and living areas each access a timber-decked alfresco area.
